Introduction
Vitamin C is a colorless crystal, odourless, acidic taste. Soluble in water and ethanol. Stable in dry air , and its solution is not stable. As well as, vitamin C takes part in many metabolism procedures in the human body, helps decrease brittleness of blood capillaries and increase body resistance
Application
1.Food Grade: As antioxidant and food nutrition enhancer, Vitamin C is used in flour product, beer, candy, jam, can, drink, dairy products
2.Medicine Grade: Vitamin medicines, prevent scurvy, and a various of drugs for acute or chronic infectious diseases, purpura, dental caries, gingival abscess, anemia
3.Cosmetic Material: Vitamin C can promote collagen formation, its antioxidation, can restrain pigment spots
Function
1. Sodium ascorbate is white to light yellow crystalline solid, odorless, slightly salty.
2. 1g products can be dissolved in 2mL water. Decomposition temperature of 218 °C, stable in dry conditions, deepen in color when exposed to light, slowly oxidized and decomposed in moisture or in aqueous solution.
3. More soluble in water than ascorbic acid (62g/100mL), 10% aqueous solution pH is about 7.5. Use of vitamin supplements, antioxidants.
